Regularly gathering around the fireplace at teatime we also enjoy live entertainment on Friday and Sunday afternoons. In fact, you’re welcome to drop in on a Sunday afternoon. There’s an open house, with refreshments and entertainment every Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

On the third floor there is a large patio/terrace which overlooks the Peace Tower and is a great place to watch the fireworks on Canada Day or if you just want to enjoy the view. The residence’s green space on the third floor features a variety of flowers and greenery and is an attractive setting for barbecues, socials and special events for the entire family.

If you are interested in trying out some of the activities or stopping in for a meal, you are also welcome to do so. Families look forward to the festive Sunday brunches offered here at Governor’s Walk. We would love to have you!

Governor’s Walk is noted for it’s lovely annual Victorian Teas, especially the Daffodil Tea, which features a well known harpist.

The annual Strawberry Social with a 20 piece jazz band to entertain, is a local community favourite.
