As you know I leave tomorrow
having spent two months at Governor's walk recovering
from a serious medical intervention. I have nothing but
praise for the facilities and amenities the services and
the food and most of all the staff at Governor's Walk.
The facilities are extremely
well appointed and extremely well maintained. The food
is of a consistent high quality offering both excellent
nutrition and variety. It was served by courteous, friendly,
considerate and cheerful staff for whom no request was
too much trouble. There staff create a very warm and caring
environment. I noted that they treat all residents with
a considerateness and respect that recognized their autonomy
in even the smallest personal matters.
All of my queries were dealt
with promptly and courteously by front office staff. Nothing
was too much trouble at any time. I was driven to doctor's
appointments with great care, thoughtfulness and courtesy.
My medications were prepared carefully and delivered twice
a day with kindness and humour by the attendant nurse.
I received diligent and very cheerful service from the
housekeeper for my suite.
All in all I received exceptional
service from the staff at Governor's Walk. I have no doubt
at all that my recovery would have taken much longer had
I not had this recuperative respite at Governor's Walk.
In conclusion, I am deeply
grateful for the considerate care and the warm displays
of genuine kindness and thoughtfulness that I received
on a daily basis during my two month stay at Governor's
Walk. I have no hesitation whatsoever in commending Governor's
Walk as a facility that facilitates independence and which
provides a quality of care not often found.
